Dear ________,

My organization/school, [INSERT NAME], has been a member of the National Partnership for Educational Access (NPEA) for________ years. We joined because ________. Personally, I have found membership to be so valuable that I wanted to extend an invitation to you to join NPEA.

NPEA is a membership association that connects the people, practices, and innovations essential for eliminating barriers to educational access and college and career success for underserved students. Members of our community are united by our core values, and we use NPEA as a national platform to share best practices and network.

Everyone in our network of over 330 member organizations and schools across 36 states (plus Canada, Guam, and The Bahamas) is committed to supporting underserved students on the path to college and beyond. Collectively, the NPEA education nonprofit members alone serve over 500,000 underserved students annually.

NPEA member benefits include our newsletters, digests, free monthly webinars, member spotlights, job postings, and our NPEA Data Counts project, as well as discounts on services.

The signature NPEA event is the Annual Conference, which draws over 400 professionals (both NPEA members and non-members) from across the country each April. The conference is held in a different location each year, and always has a theme relevant to the education access field.

If you are ready to join our community, please complete the NPEA membership application, and you can opt to pay by credit card or check. Please be sure to write in my name in the ‘Member Referral’ field.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have about joining NPEA. You can also contact Alex Newell, the NPEA Member Services Associate, with any questions. He can be reached at, or by phone at (617) 423-6300 ext. 263.

Please let me know what you think, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
