Boston – April 15-17, 2020
Thank you to all who attended the 2019 Conference!
About the 2019 Conference:
As our country continues to face overwhelming challenges, NPEA’s 11th annual conference invited us to collectively raise our voices to champion the power of educational access and success. We focused on bold innovations with proven results designed to empower students on their unique educational journeys, and learned from those who are committed above all else to dismantling systems of inequity. We held open and frank discussions on topics such as college affordability, student mental health and well-being, identity and character development, youth voice, college and career readiness, measuring our impact, and diversity, equity, and inclusion issues across the field.
What our members are saying about the conference:
“I’ve registered for well over 20 other conferences in my professional life, and I am never satisfied with the sessions across the board. No other conference do I say to myself ‘Ugh! I wish I could do ALL of these!’ I also feel that no other conference reacts to the changing landscape of our profession quite as well as NPEA.” – Gina King, Director of College Counseling, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Baltimore
“It is a remarkably productive conference EVERY year…There is no other conference or professional organization as important to me as NPEA.” – 2018 conference attendee
“The level of organization and guidance for a first-time attendee was amazing. I learned so much and am looking forward to going back to my school to unpack it all.” – 2018 conference attendee
